Diversity Council Goals:

The primary goal of MSM Diversity Council is to provide opportunities for Mount students of diverse backgrounds to come together and develop an appreciation of each other’s cultures and encourage students to interact with people of different backgrounds.

The Diversity Council will encourage students to explore the history of their own culture and to be able to share it with others.

The Diversity Council will periodically focus on different cultures enriching America and provide educational enrichment on issues of diversity.

The Diversity Council will network with the city-wide youth Diversity Committee sponsored by the Little Rock Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission and participate in area diversity-related events such as “WorldFest” and “Keepin’ It Real” each year.
