Mission:

• To assist institutions in central Arkansas with the sharing of information and working together on initiatives to promote positive race relations and to develop an understanding of other cultures.

• The Arkansas Department of Education has partnered with the Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission and its Education Committee to supply funding for the development of Youth Diversity Councils.

• The Youth Advisory Council is composed of 4 student representatives from each of the participating schools.
